Data Engineering Trainee

• Intermediate or higher English level (verbal communication);
• proficiency in data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data integration;
• strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases;
• programming skills in Python;
• version control and collaboration tools like Git and GitHub;
• ability to ensure data quality through validation and monitoring processes;
• ability to identify and address data-related challenges;
• a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in data science.

Will be a plus:

• bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field;
• experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Hive;
• familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Redshift, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery;
• programming skills in Java or Scala;
• experience designing and building scalable data pipelines;
• knowledge of data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow;
• troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving data pipeline issues;
• proficiency in using cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data storage and processing;
• skills in optimizing database performance and managing large datasets;
• knowledge of data security and compliance best practices.
